UK Photo Tours is pleased to announce the acquisition of NightPhotographyWorkshop.com. We are proud to be adding this to our livery of websites as we continue to build the resources available to our clients and the wider photography community.
The revamping of NightPhotographyWorkshop.com will remain a work in progress until our peak photographic tour season is over (September to December). We are looking forward to building on what the previous owners, both accomplished astrophotographers, worked so hard to achieve.
About NightPhotographyWorkshop.com
NightPhotographyWorkshop.com was established by two dedicated astrophotographers with a passion for sharing the craft of night sky photography with others. Over the years they built a well-regarded resource for anyone wanting to learn the techniques behind capturing the Milky Way, star trails, aurora and the night landscape.
Their work laid a strong foundation, and it is one we intend to honour and build upon. Night and astrophotography is a discipline that demands both technical knowledge and an understanding of the natural world: reading the sky, finding dark locations, planning around moon phases and weather windows. It is a subject we are deeply passionate about at UK Photo Tours, and one we have been teaching on our workshops and multi-day tours for years.
What This Means for Our Clients
For existing and future UK Photo Tours clients, this acquisition means an expanded set of astrophotography resources, guides and workshop content will be coming together under a wider umbrella. Our astrophotography tours and night photography workshops already cover some of the UK's finest dark sky locations (including the Norfolk Broads, the Lake District and the Scottish Highlands), and we look forward to developing these further.
