Who We Are

Photography holidays led by someone who lives for the shot

Every tour is led by Dion Hitchcock: professional photographer with over 23,000 client hours leading tours and workshops across the UK. In partnership with Kase Filters and Move Shoot Move, every itinerary reflects real-world knowledge of light, tide, season and access.

From misty mornings in the Scottish Highlands to golden-hour waders on the Norfolk coast, each departure is timed precisely to give you the best possible conditions. Groups are capped at 5 photographers, so you get genuine tuition, not a crowd.

Quiraing Isle of Skye Scotland photography tour landscape
Scotland was everything I'd dreamed of and more. Dion knows exactly where the light will be and gets you there before anyone else. Quiraing in the mist, Glencoe at golden hour — I came home with a portfolio I'm genuinely proud of. Already looking at next year.

A photo tour to the Lake District was a dream of mine. Dion knew exactly where and when to take us for the best possible shot, and by taking us to one or two non-widely-known beauty spots, he gave us the opportunity to take some truly original photos.

Dion's communication from the start was responsive and prompt. He was very flexible with the itinerary and willing to adapt to everyone's needs and the weather. Dion even had back-up plans in case the weather didn't cooperate. An exceptional experience.

I was fortunate enough to get the last spot on a trip with Dion to Horsey Gap. Dion was a great guide and coach, managing to help all the attendees at their various stages of learning. He managed to find super opportunities for us and shared some secret spots he'd found for shooting.

Multi-day tour FAQs

All multi-day tours include complimentary return transport from London (Scotland tours depart from Inverness), accommodation (own room), all local transport throughout, and expert tuition from Dion. Landscape tours include Kase Wolverine filter kits to use throughout. Wildlife tours include access to telephoto lenses. Backup camera equipment is also available in case of any malfunction. Meals are generally self-catered (supermarket stop on Day 1) unless stated otherwise. A full kit list and trip notes are sent after booking.
All skill levels are welcome - from complete beginners to experienced photographers looking to take their work to the next level. Dion tailors his tuition to the group, covering the basics on Day 1 for newer photographers while helping more experienced members with advanced composition, long exposure and post-processing techniques.
Any interchangeable lens camera (DSLR or mirrorless) is suitable. A wide lens (16–24mm) is ideal for landscapes; a telephoto (100–400mm) is helpful for wildlife tours though lenses are available to borrow. A tripod is strongly recommended for landscape and astrophotography tours. A full kit list is provided after booking.

Absolutely. Many of our guests travel solo and find the small group environment (max 5) creates a naturally warm and supportive atmosphere. Photography holidays are a great way to meet like-minded people, and the shared accommodation adds a wonderful communal feel to the week.
