Small tour (max 5 participants)

Join us on an amazing 5 day / 4 night tour to explore the picturesque Jurassic Coast!

With our small group – max 5 participants – we’ll be including world-famous landscapes such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove plus some infrequently visited gems such as two stunning Beech tree avenues, plus a picturesque old castle so there’ll be a variety of unique locations on offer.

As a bonus – as if the incredible scenery isn’t enough – the best filter company in the business, Kase filters, is kindly providing multiple sets of their Pro filters so you can get the most out this amazing workshop! (over £2,000 worth!)

We’ll also be keeping an eye on cloud cover at night to see if we can do any astrophotography as well.  Since we’re staying so close to Durdle Door we’ll have the opportunity to photograph this amazing natural arch at sunrise, during the day, at sunset, and at night!

Sample itinerary:
Day 1 – Depart London, Kingston Lacy Beech Avenue, Durdle Door (sunset)

Day 2 – Durdle Door (sunrise – viewpoint 1), Lulworth Castle, Kimmerage Bay or Portland Bill Lighthouse (sunset – depending on weather & tide levels)

Day 3 – Durdle Door (sunrise – viewpoint 2), Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door (sunset)

Day 4 – Corfe Castle (sunrise), Winspit Quary or Swannage Old Pier, Old Harry Rocks (sunset)

Day 5 – Durdle Door + Man O’War Beach (sunrise), Gold Hill, return to London.

Thank you so much Dion for another great photo excursion. Very well thought out though flexible and as usual you were on hand to offer useful tips and helpful advice.

Great to use the Kase filters again too!

Thanks Dion for an amazing workshop, you have helped my confidence grow on the technical side of using my camera once again. I have some lovely images now to look back and remember the experience.

Dion Hitchcock - Photo Tour Guide

Your Guide:  Dion Hitchcock

Dion is an expat Australian based in London, United Kingdom. A prodigious traveler, after visiting 40+ countries he decided it was high time to learn about photography so he could better document his travels and quickly caught “the bug”. He became involved in several camera clubs assisting them running workshops and now runs his own, including in the UK, Iceland, and his home country of Australia. A qualified pharmacist, he’s now swapped helping patients and teaching pharmacy students for helping clients with both the technical aspects and artistic side of photography. Although an unconventional transition, he sees this as a natural progression as both of his parents are artists who instilled in him an appreciation of the beauty of the wondrous world around us.
